The Baby Quilt

This week Madeleine and I were finally able to get together to bind the baby quilt that I made for Jane.  I absolutely love it!  It turned out exactly as I had envisioned it!  I made it slightly bigger than the crib mattress so that when we use a toddler bed, it will fit over the mattress just right.  The back is a solid pink. 

I pieced the quilt together and paid to have it machine quilted.  I just love this quilt!  The colors make me so happy!  It is calm and elegant, yet cute and fun.  (It does make me want to eat pastel dinner mints, though!)
